Asian Exhibition

We've spent 2 weeks researching and presenting a display about an Asian country. The countries we looked at Thailand, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Japan, China and India.

We invited parents to come in and Mrs Moran, Mr Rickard and Mrs Stuart were the judges.

BP Technology Challenge

On Friday afternoon we competed in a technology challenge. We had to make a game that included bats, a ball, and a free standing 90cm tall net. We needed to be able to hit the ball over the net to be able to win.

There was 1 stand out group who managed to complete the task and another group who came a close second.

Some people had trouble getting access to all the materials and this may have been why they were slower than the others.

We were only able to use some polystyrene (which made a huge mess we had to clean up at the end of the day), newspaper, cardboard, string and cellotape.
